Edward (Ted) Gaudet

Ted Gaudet holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Université de Moncton with a specialization in biochemistry.
He retired after 29 years of service in the federal public service as Executive Vice-President (Assistant Deputy Minister) of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA). Subsequently, he was a project development officer at the Société de développement économique de la Ville de Dieppe.
While in the public service and at the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, he became a senior manager at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, working in several communities across Canada (Halifax, Quebec City, Ottawa, Vancouver and Moncton).
During his career, he has served on the boards of the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce, the Capitol Theatre, Codiac Transport, Urban/Rural Transport, and Expansion Dieppe. He also chaired a research and development board at the Université de Moncton. He was elected as a municipal councilor for the City of Dieppe for two terms. He currently sits on the board of directors of Ballet Atlantique.
Since September 2022, he has been a matching officer at the Employment Retirement Agency, which is funded by Labour NB and managed by the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce. With extensive experience, his participation as a new board member is greatly appreciated.
