The Light
Program

Giving momentum back, to reignite possibilities

About.

Launched in 2022, the Light Program offers a free 20-week course at the heart of the Second Chance Workshop, in a supportive and safe environment. Participants work actively in the workshop, learning to handle furniture and materials with care, and developing essential interpersonal skills: communication, collaboration, time management, and self-confidence. Like recycling, each piece of furniture, like each participant, is given a second chance to reinvent itself.
