OUR
community network
TOGETHER,
LET'S OFFER A SECOND CHANCE.
At Atelier Seconde Chance, we believe in the power of solidarity and community support. Every day, we join forces with organizations committed to helping the most vulnerable people move toward a better future. Through these partnerships, we provide concrete assistance to those who need it most, offering them not only resources, but also hope and dignity.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Donation of $20,000 by the Government of New Brunswick
The Second Chance Workshop thanks the Government of New Brunswick for a generous donation of $20,000, intended to support our Light Program.
Concrete support that allows us to help more people towards employability and a second chance, while continuing our circular economy mission.

WE ARE SUPPORTED.
The Second Chance Workshop aims to train unemployed people to promote their integration into the job market.
Our partnership with the Departments of Social Development and
Post-Secondary Education is essential and renewed regularly.
We maintain a close relationship with Maison Nazareth around a common mission: to fight poverty.
Through an ongoing partnership, some eligible residents are referred to follow our “Light Program”.
Since 2018, a partnership with ECO 360 has allowed Enviro Plus to recover, restore and sell recyclable items.
ECO 360 also supports the job placement of graduates of the "Light Program".
In conjunction with the NB Housing Corporation, Rising tide NB helps our “Light Program” learners find suitable housing.
Victim Services and Community Policing
These services support us when our students encounter legal challenges. They act as consultants or interveners in cases of problematic behavior.
The three municipalities offered a contribution of $42,000, which enabled the purchase of a van to transport our students in temporary housing or without independent transport.
The Université de Moncton is a key partner, mobilizing various faculties (administration, environment, etc.) to support our activities.
Every semester, she sends us students through the "Programme de Jumelage", and invites us twice a year to the Career Fair.
We are deeply grateful to him for this support.
The Second Chance Workshop is in partnership with the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education, Training & Work as part of its Lumière program for the reintegration or integration of young people of working age into the workplace.
Our partnership with the Ministry of Education and Early Childhood Development aims to collaborate on potential placements of at-risk young students (dropouts) to quickly reintegrate into the workforce, regain daily motivation, and contribute to society and the economy.
WE SUPPORT.
We are proud to be the official sponsors of the only conference of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in New Brunswick, in collaboration with the national council. Our commitment goes beyond simply helping the unemployed: we actively support people in dire need by offering them a second chance, a fresh start, and the hope of a better life.
The YWCA works to provide women and gender-diverse people with affordable and safe housing, enabling them to rebuild their lives for themselves and their children. To support this mission, the Second Chance Workshop offers a significant discount on furniture, making moving in more accessible and stress-free.
Occasionally, John Howard clients who need to acquire beneficial knowledge and skills are referred to us for the Lighting Program. The Second Chance Workshop's support provides them with a positive approach by spending a few weeks with us, without judgment or bias.
We are pleased to join The Salvation Army through the project initiative
"Welcome Home" will provide start-up assistance to people transitioning into housing after experiencing homelessness or unstable housing. The Second Chance Workshop offers them furniture at a significant discount and reasonable delivery costs.
Many newcomers to the area are experiencing great difficulty finding furniture in good condition at a reasonable price.
Our way of supporting them is to allow them to benefit from a discount on their purchases, provided they are newcomers who have been living in New Brunswick for less than a year.
Thanks to our proximity and collaboration with community organizations serving newly arrived people, such as CAFI and MAGMA, we are able to offer considerable discounts.
